By means of a DVB-C repeater I can transfer my cable tv channels into my wifi network and so I'm able to watch TV within my wifi network
with Kodi 17.6 together with the addon "PVR IPTV Simple Client".
Since my computer is a dual boot system where Win10 Pro 64 bit is the 2nd system,
I tried to watch TV with the mentioned configuration on Win10, too.
Everything is working great there, but if I watch in Mint (Kodi or VLC or what ever tool I use doesn't matter),
I get heavy image distortions every 2 minutes for about 12 seconds, so watching is no fun at all.
The wifi usb device cannot be causing this issue, because only Linux is affected.
I also tried Lubuntu 17.10 facing the same issue.
Neither can it be the DVB-C repeater, because, as I said before, everything is great as long as I'm on Win10.
Different kernels didn't help either (currently I'm runnning x86_64 Linux 4.4.0-103-generic and before that one I had x86_64 Linux 4.10.0-42-generic).
So what is it then?
How can I fix this, please?
