[SOLVED] static popping noise in speakers
I get an annoying static popping noise randomly in my speakers. It sounds like when you plug in an audio cord and the metal part first touches the port kind of. It happens on other versions of mint, ubuntu, but not windows. Anyone know how I can fix this?

What's the sound card that powers those speakers?

I seem to have finally fixed it. I've tried a bunch of different nvidia drivers, but they always give me trouble. I just tried the newest one for my video card listed on their site, and it seems to have fixed it.
