Right is left

Post by JeChriGo »

Hello, new here. I've noticed that my LM installation reverts the speakers, or in my case, the headphones. Left is right and right is left. And I can't find any setting to correct this error. And by the way: my on-board soundcard is listed, but another kinda virtual is chosen instead. When I set my name given, real soundcard - there's no sound at all!

Any ideas? Yeah I know, read the forums before you post a question. But "Sound, Multimedia, & Codecs" has some 85 pages and I'm tired...

inxi -Fxz
and paste them between code tags found above where you type your posts. It's a button that looks like this </>.

That will give us some information about your computer.

If you are using vlc in the toolbar/Audio/Stereo Mode there is an option to reverse the channels.

Oh? Cool, I haven't used VLC (in Linux) yet. Will give it a try, thanks.
