Tip for Bluray burner

Good evening,

I'm using Linux Mint 19 Beta and i kindly ask what options do i have to burn Blurays? I don't think Brasero works, didn't try K3B and Xfburn it's ok. Am i right? There are any other options?

Hi Fontenele,

I did not see this post before.

It would help to know more about your system setup. If you run "inxi -Fxzd" and "lsusb" from the console terminal prompt, highlight the results, copy and paste them back here, that should provide enough information.

There are many posts on this topic in this forum, but because of the forum's limited searching options you may have to use something like the command below for Google search to find them.

If you have not installed the 3rd party software during the Linux Mint installation, then install "mint-meta-codecs" from the "Synaptic Package Manager SPM". I highly recommend installing "K3b" and "udftools" from the "Synaptic Package Manager SPM" with all of their recommended and suggested packages and "ubuntu-restricted-extras" and "regionset", restart your computer afterward.

To install this using the PPA method, open a console terminal, type in, or copy & paste, each line below one by one: Click "Select All" above command, right click the highlighted command, select Copy or Ctrl+Insert, click in the console terminal window, and right click paste or Shift+Insert, repeat for each command.
