Can't take dealing with alsa and pulse audio any longer.
Nothing has changed since Linux conception. I'm out love when I turn on my Bluetooth headphones Windows connects and starts playing automatically with fantastic sound quality.

Is your 1 line only post meant to be a rant against audio support in Linux Mint only?
Or are you trying to get help in solving some such issue?

Actually, yes it has. ALSA didn't much exist in Linux until 2002, when OSS (version 4) became proprietary software. PulseAudio didn't even exist until 2004 and for the first 2 years was called Polypaudio and is (at least now) distributed via the freedesktop.org project (don't bring that up with Flemur!!!)

You could also take karlchen's advice and offer more details here and someone will try to help you get it sorted.
