No Audio

Post by mystik » Wed Sep 05, 2018 3:47 am

I didn't notice at first because I was using a Bluetooth headset where audio does work, but I turned it off, and there is no audio. There's not even a volume icon, as far as I can see. I am using HDMI, if it matters for this case. Thank you.

Welcome back, mystik.

Have you done a full shutdown of the computer since installing? Sometimes thats works.

You can delete the files in ~/.config/pulse/ and then in the terminal type pulseaudio -k then wait 10 seconds and test sound.

If those don't help please past back the output of running the following in the terminal: inxi -Fxz and aplay -l

Enclose the results in-between [ⅽode] and [/ⅽode] code markers by selecting </> from the mini toolbar above the textbox where you type your reply.
