Linux Mint - Shell WavPack support?

Post by Isaac_4 » Mon Sep 10, 2018 9:03 pm

I love the idea that WavPack files are natively supported in the stock media players provided by Linux Mint, unfortunately, the shell does not recognize WavPack tags in the file browser.

To no surprise, FLAC files have their tags displayed in the browser, but not the WavPack files. For me, it hurts because I have a large number of WavPack files on my computer, some of which that contain tags. Is there a future version of Linux Mint planned that supports tags for WavPack files in the shell of the file browsers?

He's what I mean. I know the libraries exist, I'm just curious if it's been implemented yet or has plans to be implemented.
