In order not to have to recreate playlists on each PC, I have been trying to copy the created Rhythymbox playlists on one of my PC's to another PC.
I located the playlist.xml file in ///home/.local/share/rhythymbox
I copied it into the same folder on the new PC
I used a text editor to view the file and it lists all playlists with all song locations
I then rebooted the new PC and no playlists are listed, except the fixed lists that were already there
Next:
I also tried saving the the playlist file through file-playlists-save to file
I used a text editor to to view the file and it lists all song locations
Then I installed the file through file-playlists-load to file
The playlist name shows up under playlists, but when it is selected no songs show up.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Are the file structure and locations of the songs in the file system identical on both machines?
Have you 'imported' the local music library on the new machine?
