Re: Totem clearing recent history
Not today, but you never know when these things come in handy . Clear play-list and Edit preferences are no-go. The only place I found related content is in .recently-used.xbel in the user's home directory. I was wondering if there is any other straightforward way to clear it.lagagnon wrote: I don't watch <violates forum rules> so maybe not. Edit, Clear playlist ???

--totem, clearing history..
Mint menu>control center>system>Computer janitor
--one method..
Install bleachbit
http://bleachbit-project.appspot.com/
--it clears user history files etc..
I don't have totem, so I don't know if it (bleachbit) will see that application, but if it does, it can clear the entries

Re: Totem clearing recent history
Thanks DrHu. This is what worked for me in gloria,
http://ubuntu-snippets.blogspot.com/200 ... orror.html
I created .gtkrc-2.0 in my home and added the line to it.
'bleachbit' looks good but they haven't added Totem to their list yet. The other two methods suggested didn't work out for me.
