I'm running LM 20.1 Mate and using Mozilla Thunderbird for email.
How do I configure things so that an incoming email generates a bell sound, like a phone call?

In Thunderbird Edit/Preferences/General and then click on Play a sound. You may use a sound file of your choice.

Thanks regmar, had the Thunderbird bit but where do I get a sound file from?
I did have a dog bark, but where did I get that from within LM Mate?
