screen and video tearing problems

Post by sjq42 »

I've problems with video tearing and also a screen tearing. of course I checked this problem on other topics but I didn't find a solution to the problem. I'm now using Linux Mint 20.1, and before this I've used Linux Mint 19.3 with older Kernel (4.15 I think), and I and I haven't had these problems with tearing. Can anyone help me about this, please?

Welcome to the forum, sjq42.

This sounds like a graphics issue, but you posted in the "Sound, Multimedia, & Codecs". Is this just a graphics-related issue or are you having other problems as well?

Does the tearing happen with all apps or just certain ones?

Does your graphics card normally run this warm?
