Right now I'm stuck. The past several days have been very hectic so my brain is a bit scattered and I can't think of anything else to try right now.
Do try deleting the files in ~/.config/pulse and run
pulseaudio -k again. That can be a common source of an issue like yours, so even though you did it previously, we may have fixed the issue, but those files had become corrupted again so we saw no progress.Post another message here on Wednesday or Thursday to remind me we're still in the battle here. If real life calms down a bit, I may be able to come up more ideas worth trying.
