PulseEqualizer issue involving FFT based equalizer

Post by requiembpm »

Hi! I installed several Pulse/Jack related programs (see list below), trying to get an equalizer working on my Linux Mint Mate system.
I eventually got Pulse EQ working! However my sound settings now show several copies of FFT based equalizer (see graphic). They don't engage Pulse EQ (my regular soundcard does) and I don't know what they do.
Can anyone tell me what may have created these, their purpose, and/or if/how I can remove them?

Programs installed:
- pulse audio volume control
- pulseeffects
- jack
- jack rack
- calf plugin pack for JACK
