Replay Gain [SOLVED]

Post by Josin007 »

I was looking for a way to make all my songs sound around a same volume. I learned about Replay Gain and found that option in the Poweramp music player on my phone. But it says I have to set replay gain info beforehand. I learned about mp3gain, but doesn't know how to install it. Can anybody help me with this? Or is there an alternative that I can use? I just want to scan and set RG values for my songs, all of which are in mp3 format.

Thanks. But it says "Error: Dependency is not satisfiable: libasan5 (>=9)".

I went to terminal and did 'sudo apt-get install libasan5' and installed it. But the problem is still not solved. :(
Should I do something else to make the package active?

Please generate an overview of your system like this:

- Launch a terminal window (this is how to launch a terminal window);

- Make the terminal window full screen, to avoid chopped lines;

- Copy/paste this command into the terminal:

Code: Select all

inxi -Fxpmrz
(if you type: the letter F is a capital letter, and don't omit the space after inxi!)

Press Enter.

Copy/paste the output in your next message.

Mint 19.x is based on Ubuntu 18.04 Bionic, so you need the Bionic package for mp3gain:
