5.1 Speakers - subwoofer no sound - just distortion noise.
I'm running Mint 19.3. My 5.1 speakers all work except the subwoofer. On the speaker test, the subwoofer emits a noise distortion like a booming hiss. Consequently on any media playback music etc there is no bass. I originally used the onboard sound but now have a creative audigy fx sound card but either way the sound problem happens on both. I am a newbie so any help would be appreciated. Thanks
