Hey, I have the same laptop (HP Spectre 14t - Tiger Lake). Sound and keyboard issues are due to support for the new hardware not being built into the Linux kernel yet.

Work on getting this working is ongoing. See:
https://askubuntu.com/questions/1304994 ... untu-20-10#
https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=212465
https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=210633#c13
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour ... ug/1914881

I've tried a few kernels (up to 5.13.rc7) and patches and not had luck getting sound working from a "cold boot". My current solution is to use mainline kernel 5.11.16, boot to Windows to get sound working, then reboot to Linux (sound still works in Linux this way). Then keep suspending rather than restarting.

Thanks
Locked
