Digital Audio and GPU Audio only showing in Pulse

Post by abelzw »

For some reason, Pulse Audio is only showing the audio output options for my MOBO's optical audio and my GPU's HDMI audio, but none of the earphone jacks that are built in. I'm using a 24" TV as a monitor the sound works just fine but I've got a little sound bar that I want to plug directly into the PC since the TV doesn't have earphone jacks. I can't seem to figure out how to fix it.

When I typed "lspci -v | grep -i audio" I got:
00:1f.3 Audio device: Intel Corporation 100 Series/C230 Series Chipset Family HD Audio Controller (rev 31)
Subsystem: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. 100 Series/C230 Series Chipset Family HD Audio Controller

Subsystem: Tul Corporation / PowerColor Baffin HDMI/DP Audio [Radeon RX 550 640SP / RX 560/560X]

Things that I've tried:
1. Disabled "Fast Boot" in BIOS.

Hi abelzw, and welcome to the forum.

Run pavucontrol and change the Digital Output (S/PDIF) to Analog Stereo Duplex on the Configuration tab. Does that get the headphones showing?
