Re: Microphone not working
Hi zegunadi, and welcome to the forum.
Your termbin output is for a small form factor desktop PC, not a laptop. Therefore, there's likely no internal microphone.
Are you plugging in a microphone to the proper port?

Re: Microphone not working
Hi MrEen, thanks for your answer, my english is not good.
Yes, my computer is not a laptop it is an HP ProDesk 600 G3 desktop computer.
Formerly I had windows 10 installed and it worked. When installing Mint the microphone works for me in zoom, skype but not in other applications.
When I go to the sound settings I don't see input devices.
From now on I thank you for the help and your time

Re: Microphone not working
Okay, maybe Zoom and Skype are doing things to your microphone volume that are preventing it working in other applications. Try using PulseAudio Volume Control (pavucontrol) to adjust the settings on the Recording tab. The applications will only show there while you're actively trying to use the microphone at the time.
