Bluetooth headset A2DP profile not working in Linux Mint 20.02 uma

Post by jasonpandian »

Please Help me out, I'm using linux more than 6 years. Last year I had switched to Linux Mint, Everything was perfectly fine until, I had noticed that mic profile is not working in linux mint.I'm DL Enthusiast, content creator, I will make podcast and videos. Without mic profile, I can't perform most of my works. And I was searching for solution more than 4 months, but none of them were helpful to resolve my problem. Please help me out.

Hi jasonpandian, and welcome to the forum.

With Linux you'll never have a mic option when using A2DP. You must use HSP/HFP, which will lessen the quality of the sound you hear. There is work on changing this occurring, but for right now that's about your only option.
