Recently i installed linux mint 20.2, and it came to my attention, that when the audio system is idle, i can hear a strange white noise from my loudspeakers. I am certain, that this only happens when the audi system is in ,,idle state" (i don't do anything that would produce audio) because as soon as i do something that touches the audio system, the white noise stops. For an example, i just move around my mouse, or type some things, i can hear the noise, but i start playing a video on youtube, the noise stops. Also when i launch up
pavucontrol, the noise stops. Same with the built in GUI audio controller (i think that's the pulseaudio widget). Any ideas on fixing the issue? Also it might be useful info, that when i plug in my external audio card, this white noise is gone entirely.
