yes, i also have no sound in Cinnamon Edition 20.3

Can you guys help me out? it's my first time installing linux mint and i don't have any sound. :(. I'm using Cinnamon Edition 20.3 and i'm trying to use the stereo sound of my notebook.

Hello teteufofo,

from your informations I can see no reason, but one thing you could try first. You have rather new hardware, so I think it will get better support with a more recent kernel. Open the update manager > view > linux kernels and choose on the left tab 5.13. Then click the one at the top and install it. After that you have to reboot and can test the sound.
