Hi, I am trying to switch to Linux for a while now. I first tried Pop!_OS but there was a bad screeching noise coming from the laptop whenever there was an input (like moving the cursor, typing something on the keyboard or running an app). It drove my crazy and I switched back to Windows and after a few months I'm trying out Mint now. And the screeching noise seems to be following me. The problem is the same, I am not sure if it comes from the speaker or not. Please help me.
I tried the solution here: viewtopic.php?t=336702 and it didn't change anything.
My laptop is HP Victus 16-e0012nt with Amd Ryzen 5 and GTX1650 if these matter.
