I'm having a nuisance problem on a family member's computer. He likes to connect his phone through line in and play music from there. He does this on Windows and did this on Mint 19 with no issues. (I may have had to change a setting there, but I have no idea what I did.)
In any event, running:
from terminal enables the audio pass through. I added it as the last line of .bash.rc so it would just work. The problem is that he has to open a terminal window to get that command to run. It's an inconvenience, but if I can just fix it for him we'd both be happier.
Can anyone tell me how to get this fixed on a permanent automatic basis?
Thanks.
