Hello, everyone,
I hope you can help me.
I use Mint 20.3 Cinnamon on my Huawei Matebook X Pro 2021.
Kernel: 5.15.0-46-generic
Everything seems to be working fine, except for the fingerprint sensor (I don't care) and the sound card.
The sound of the internal speakers sounds extremely bad and very quiet.
Sound over USB is absolute good.
Before I installed Mint, the sound on Windows 10 was great from the internal speakers.
I have the following system information:
Intel driver: sof-audio-pci-intel-tgl bus ID: 00:1f.3 chip ID: 8086:a0c8
Can anybody help me further?
Regards,
David

There is one link in the Tips for Troubleshooting Sound Issues which is Fix for LG Gram 17 with ALC256 - Speakers and Microphones not Detected and/or Working - Dummy Output where the person explains how to use drivers from the SOF Project Github. Your computer is very new so that may be the best approach. Take a Timeshift snapshot before making changes if you want to give that a try.
There have been audio-related changes in code (other than the drivers) in Ubuntu 22.04 so it is possible LM21 may have better support for your hardware. You might want to try a live session of LM21 to see if the audio is any better.
