Sound only works when disabling and re-enabling audio loopback in alsamixer

Post by daflamingpotato »

Sound only works when disabling and re-enabling audio loopback in alsamixer.
It doesn't matter what settings I use. I have to go into alsa mixer, disable the loopback, and then re-enable it. Then the sound works.

It used to work normally on boot, but I must have messed up something because I was trying to fix a speaker issue.
(The right speaker never works, only the left speaker. I wasn't able to figure out why. I know the speaker works because it worked on Windows.)
(I tested headphone jack and both sides work that way.)

Right now I am just trying to get it back so that at least the left speaker works on boot.

This is my hardware:
