Cannot open *.ram files

Post by XE1UFO »

Dear Friends,

I have twenty old media files (*.ram). They are supposed to be audio sermons. I cannot open any of them with anything. I have tried the usual:
--RealPlayer
--Helix
--Audacious
--Audacity
--Banshee
--AlsaPlayer
--VLC

...to name a few, and a half dozen more. Any ideas? Their icons show "Real Media File".
:(
Thanks in advance!

.ram is a real player file..

You can install a browser (realplayer) plugin to handle the .ram (ra) files..

Gnome-mplayer seems to play the few of these that I have quite fine.
