Hi all, just a quick question here -
How can I have MIDIs play with my own soundfont, as opposed to the default one that is used to play MIDIs?
I have restricted-extras, and fluidsynth, and I even replaced the .sf2 in /usr/share/sounds/sf2 with my custom one, yet whenever I mouseover a midi in nautilus, or open one in Totem, I get the (somewhat lacking) default soundfont.
VLC can be directed to any soundfont - but I would rather not drag in QT and all that just to have it. Besides, Totem is much nicer anyway.
In short, can someone point me in the right direction? I don't care if it's a hacky solution lol.
Point Totem (and nautilus) to custom MIDI soundfont?
