Mint 12 music on mouse over

New install of Mint 12, all hardware working. Has the mouse over to preview music files (mp3 etc) been removed with the new version of Gnome? I really loved this, can i get it back or something, it is not working for me.

You can now preview all kinds of files (music, pictures, video, etc) simply by selecting them and hitting the space bar...it's quite nifty really!
