[SOLVED] Cinnamon and NAS drive

Post by Peter Linu »

Hiyall,
Last week I had an IT expert set up Cinnamon to 'see' my Lenovo NAS drive. What remained after he said that the job was done was: on shutting down there was a small window showing that there is no pdf reader AND Nemo didn't work.
I searched this forum and found someone else who had the same problem in 18.3. The answer by the pundits was that it was a fault of the Cinnamon software.
Does anyone know whether it has been fixed and if so, where can I find info? If not, how do I make it work or should I simply trash the $500 job and reinstall Cinnamon?

It was fixed in 4 minutes by reinstalling and UPDATING Nemo via the terminal. It seems that Cinnamon techs did fix the problem since 18.3.
