Linux Incompatibility List

Postby mumbo719 » Wed Feb 28, 2007 8:33 am

Very good but not an exhaustive list of incompatible hardware.

For new users asking why Mint and Linux in general does not support their hardware you are asking the wrong question.

The correct question is "Why dosen't the hardware manufacturer support Linux and make their drivers and hardware available to us?"

Read the list here http://www.leenooks.com/

Maybe because the manufactures doesn't know how to programing in linux. It is about costs. And no respect for users.
