Broken Pipe message

Ever since the last updates that were made available by Linux Mint relating to operations of Nvidia video card drivers, etc., I am occasionally (does NOT happen or at least I am not seeing it on every boot) getting a message that is being displayed during boot up saying something about BROKEN PIPE.

What is this and why am I getting it ?
