Blinking Graphics, Help Please

Hi there, i have a ATI 2400 PRO (pic exp) i have installed the drivers via EnvyNG and can change the res etc but when it comes to loading up games/screensavers the screen keep blinking every 2-3seconds,

That's strange - blinking how?
The same for games as for screensavers?

I think problem is in compiz. Try to switch it off. ATI and compiz are not friends. But the are trying to solve this problem.

Thanks i was thinking it was compiz i hope they can solve this error with ATI.

I just bought an ATI graphics to play with - I've only used nvidia for over 10 years (well I think the odd Matrox too :))

Great could you tell me if you somehow fix this issue (if it happens to your ATI card).
