Wifi Problem

Postby Guest » Fri Sep 26, 2008 11:31 am

Hi!
I'm new user with Linux, and I have a problem with my Wifi Card. My laptop:

Lenovo 3000 N200 (modello 0769E3G)
Intel Centrino Duo (1.83 Ghz)
Ram 2038 Mb
WiFi: Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection

I searched to install the wifi windows-driver with the right Linux Programm, but he doesn't run because I need an .inf programm and I have only an .exe... with the note-block I maked an .inf programm with link at the .exe Window-driver but he doesn't work.

Can you help me??

Thanks

Berry

The exe you have is probably a self extracting exe and you can open it with the archiver and extract the inf

Right click > Open with > Archive manager
I don't have a self extracting exe to test with in this computer, but it should work
