Tab key prints \6=0p] and other keys won't work right

Post by enchance » Wed Aug 06, 2014 10:25 pm

Hi everyone, for some reason the TAB key prints "\6=0p]" instead of tabbing. I'm not sure if this is a hardware issue but this was the first place I thought of posting. Other keys were affected as well: CAPSLOCK key prints "t[9l'" (I have to press SHIFT to get allcaps), and the Function key on my laptop prints "y;o" when I press it. Weird. :(

10 Tabs in succession:
\6=0p]\6=0p]\6=0p]\6=0p]\6=0p]\6=0p]\6=0p]\6=0p]\6=0p]\6=0p]

10 Capslock in succession:
t[9l't[9l't[9l't[9l't[9l't[9l't[9l't[9l't[9l't[9l'

I'm pretty much stuck here and I'm hoping someone can give me a nudge in the right direction. Thanks in advance!

Edit: +30 mins after posting this...
Everything is working again. Don't be fooled! The keys are functioning porperly but i'm sute later on it's going to be faulty again. Ho hummm.
It's not that hard to train a pengiun to do stunts. Just say, sudo roll-over or sudo play-dead.

Wow, it's so quiet. Am I the only one with this problem in the entire world?
