dvb stick any work on Mint Elyssa 64 ?

Postby LongDog » Fri Oct 17, 2008 11:16 am

I've given up trying to get my AVerTV DVB-T Volar X USB to work in linux
Is there any of these tv usb sticks that do work with Linux Mint Elyssa 64 ?
Prefer a cheap one !

There's a link for Linux on the product page
http://www.avermedia.com/cgi-bin/produc ... tvolar.asp
however the server has problems now so I don't know what you'd find

Don't fix it if it ain't broken, don't break it if you can't fix it

Ok
I have no knowledge - no reports no personal experience
From
http://www.linuxtv.org/
you can go to
http://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/Main_Page
and from there to
http://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/S ... d_Hardware
Unfortunately this does not tell you if it it supported by a 64 bits system
I'd search for " 64 bits system" and the card I think may suit me
