Hardware listing

Postby vinoman » Sun Nov 23, 2008 5:58 pm

In Mint 5, where is the device manager, or listing of the hardware on your PC?

I ran $ lspci an it showed me my video listing. Is there a command to show other hardware listings?

I don't know why the Device manager disappeared, but it's bad....
However lspci lists everything connected to pci and then you have lsusb for usb
Don't fix it if it ain't broken, don't break it if you can't fix it

These commands are commonly used for hardware info:

Also, type "cat /proc/meminfo" for example for memory information. There are others like cpuinfo as well as others.
