Hardware Compatibility Doc's?

Postby Eviscerate » Sat Dec 13, 2008 9:11 pm

Is there any hardware compatibility documentation for Linux mint? Mostly interested in wireless cards for desktops and videos cards, DIAL UP modems! :x but a full list of all hardware on everything would be nice. I wanna build a PC for my girlfriend and install Linux mint on it, in the near future as a gift she likes using The Gimp i have it on my laptop ( she was way into photo shop ) but anyways she likes the gimp a lot and also i think Linux mint would be easier for her to maintain as in viruses etc. :)

Actually now that i think about it the dial up modem is something i would need to know since i know there a pain to setup! As of now she uses dial up but when we move into a place together we will have high speed. ( i cant stand dial up )

If anyone could please point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated!
