Post by bunhann »

I have problem on my Lenovo Ideapad 100 with linux operating system. I have installed LinuxMint 17.2 on this laptop. Everything are working fine, except Shutdown and Restart this computer. During shutdown the computer, it was hang on the LinuxMint logo and it won't shutdown.
For restart, it was keep black screen, it won't boot up the LinuxMint back. I also install Ubuntu 15.04, but the problem is the same, it was stuck at Ubuntu logo at shutdown and show black screen when reboot.

I had similar problems on my Lenovo Ideapad with Linux Mint 18.2 OS.
To solve the problem I had to end Bluetooth by right click on the Bluetooth symbol and close it down. Wireless LAN should also be closed before the shutdown. To close WiFi down, I pressed the key with the plane on it (F7 key). After shutting down those things my Lenovo Ideapad would shutdown normally.
Somehow WLAN and Bluetooth prevented Linux Mint from a complete shutting down.
