I cannot get a Visioneer 7300 scanner to work or even to be recognized by Mint Linux. I have installed all the scanning programs I can find on the software managers, still nothing. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have a Visioneer 9000. Lord knows I tried to get it working in Mint. I've given up in exasperation. There are a lot of scanners that work well with Linux. Visioneer isn't one of'em.

Hmm, is there a way to get Visioneer 9000 to work, I know Sane does not support this type of scanner, and I do not want to purchase a new scanner, and would luv to get Windows of my system completely
