"ACPI PCC probe failed"
(I have previously changed the drivers for my "nvidia GEFORCE 210" graphics card to the Proprietry nvidia ones to hopefully get the best screen output.)
There is an entry in the "Syslog.1" that seems to point to the problem:
It seems that I don't have the permissions for the nvidia files.Failed to query NVIDIA devices. Please ensure that the NVIDIA device files (/dev/nvidia*) exist, and that user 116 has read and write permissions for those files.

Looking in the "/dev" directory I can only find two file that mention nvidia:
Should I change the permissions of these two files to include execute?crw-rw-rw- 1 root root 195, 0 Aug 21 13:08 nvidia0
crw-rw-rw- 1 root root 195, 255 Aug 21 13:08 nvidiactl
I used this command from the internet to show the nvidia files: dpkg -l | grep -i nvidia
~ $ dpkg -l | grep -i nvidia
