Suspend-to-ram // Blocked

Post by lc69 »

Hello,

my laptop doesn't support the standby (suspend-to-ram) or hibernation (suspend-to-disk)
I'm running Mint 18 and the same thing happened sout 17. 2 and 17. 3
- sleep causes:
1 \/-restarting the machine
-online the only solution, turn off (long KeyPress) and reboot the system cold.
2 \/-hibernation causes the 'suspend-to-disk' (writing the image, priori): the computer turns
but... it doesn't come out of his State by pressing the ignition button
-online the only solution, turn off (long KeyPress) and reboot the system cold.
Precision: I managed only once to resume properly follows a hibernation, by manipulating combinations of keys
(many of the type ALt print-screen-other key, or Ctrl-Esc-other.
- The system has to be there, not far, but no access air (black screen, no button active, no fan)
do you know (graphics card): How do I know if my driver is free or owner?

Thank you for your lighting
Tux
