Post by atefhares »

I have a problem after installing NVIDIA Driver Version:367.57 from driver manger, now if I suspended my pc and then tried to wake it I get this msg (GPU has fallen of the bus) without any response to my keys actions!!

I am able to suspend if i switched to Intel from Nvidia Prime App, but It would be better If I could always use Nvidia card

I am using mint cinnamon 18.1

anyhelp?

I have had the same probem for a long time and gave up looking for a solution. I think, but not sure, that the problem is an update of the BIOS that Lenovo did around mid-year in 2015 that broke it on the most recent kernels. A long time ago on older versions of Linux Mint it used to work. I suppose it's also possible the problem is caused by the AMD video driver software?, but I'm betting it is the BIOS. Here is my config...
