Driver Manager bugged??

Post by AndresVallenas » Thu Apr 06, 2017 9:39 pm

I installed Linux Mint 18.1 in my HP dev4 Pavilion with windows 10 on it. When I open the driver manager, it says that the intel-microcode (processor microcode firmware for Intel CPUs) is using an alternative driver. If I choose "Don't use this device" and I reboot. Then it says that its not using the correct devices, so I choose intel-microcode and reboot but then... And so on and so on.
I don't know if this got some disadvantages since my laptop is working fine (since this forum fixed my wifi problems). But I want everything to be perfect :)

Thanks in advance.

Put simply it is updates for the microcode CPU I have installed it and have no issues on both my systems.
