, which previously worked, was with Mint 18.2, the 4.8 kernel and an older version of the X.Org display server. I think the Linux developers made changes so that parameter won’t work with newer versions. I previously did some testing in Mint 19 and found out it did not work with the open-source intel or modesetting drivers.
