What does "Fix Released" mean?
I don’t Understand what Fix Release means look at this bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour ... ug/1623666 and still haven’t seen a update after 2 mount and the bug is over a year old? ( can’t connect Ios 10 or higher with usb to LinuxMint)

Re: What does "Fix Released" mean?
In the table at the top you can see "Fix Released" is only set for the upstream project libimobiledevice. Not for the package libimobiledevice on Ubuntu (and in this case thus Linux Mint).
The upstream project's bug report is also linked from there, https://github.com/libimobiledevice/ifuse/issues/32. It has a workaround for the issue affecting the Ubuntu package. The Ubuntu package is compiled with OpenSSL disabled and upstream says the solution is to compile it with OpenSSL support. The maintainer for the package libimobiledevice on Ubuntu has not released a new version with this workaround. If you want to use this workaround you will have to compile the software from upstream source. As you see others do on the bug report (like comment #44 on https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour ... ug/1623666).

Re: What does "Fix Released" mean?
Thank you for the quick reply and explanation I know the work around for this bug, Just wounder why it taken so long time for a real fix when the solution is known

Re: What does "Fix Released" mean?
It is a workaround for this specific device. But will it break functionality for other devices or other software? That could be a reason the workaround is not included. As it is not a security issue it will be low priority for the maintainers and it is unlikely to be included in past released distributions.
