Bluetooth - no adapters found!

Postby Madruga » Thu Nov 02, 2017 8:26 am

Hello all,
I have a Lenovo Idepad 100-15IBD, running Linux Mint MATE 18.2 64 bit. I'm having problems with Bluetooth. When clicking in the bluetooth icon -> setup new device, I get a popup saying: Blueman Assistant: No adapters found. I've searched on other forums but didn't find a solution.
When I enter in the terminal:

Code: Select all

uname -r; lsusb; lspci -nnk | grep -iA2 net; rfkill list all; hciconfig -a; dmesg | egrep -i 'blue|firm'

I have the following:

Bluetooth Patch
You can use new kernels, but you will need to patch to get bluetooth working.

You could try the Bluetooth patch, but I don't know if it will work in all kernels.

https://launchpad.net/~hanipouspilot/+a ... .1_all.deb

Good luck.

The patch won't work as the kernel doesn't detect any bluetooth device and no results from lsusb either

Scratch that, then.
Thanks, JeremyB.
Bluetooth is so "iffy".
