Best Linux Distro for a touchscreen Dell XPS laptop?

Postby AustinChristTexas » Tue Nov 07, 2017 9:10 pm

I currently use LM for my Dell XPS 15 touchscreen laptop and it works great with the Grab and Drag addon HOWEVER I cannot still manage to get Touchegg to properly install and hence the functionality of the touchscreen is not the same quality as it was on Windows 10. This is extremely frustrating as it's a very nice touch screen.

When will LM get full touchscreen support? Do any of you recommend another way to get my Dell XPS touchscreen to work better with LM?

Btw I LOVE LM and do NOT want to go back to windows but am afraid this issue will cause me to..

Mint is really not targeted at touchscreen devices. It's always been pitched as a traditional desktop.

I would try something with a Gnome desktop (e.g. Ubuntu Gnome 16.04) or maybe Windows is the best option.
