Hi

I have an HP 840 G3 that I have installed Mint on but the audio is not working.

No audio hardware appears in lspci

I hate to say it but if I cannot fix this soon, I will be installing Windows 10.

D'oh! I don't remember doing it but it looks like I had disabled the audio in the BIOS.

Re-enabled and reinstalled. Audio hardware now listed but not enabled. Googled the hardware details and found the following suggestion:

systemctl --user enable pulseaudio && systemctl --user start pulseaudio

Restarted. All OK now.
