Scrolling from touchpad and touchscreen is not working - HP Pavilion x2 - 10-n155sa (ENERGY STAR)

Post by shyllenno » Sun Feb 04, 2018 3:27 pm

Hi guys,

I have been looking in a lot of sites and communities (Linus Mint, Ubuntu and Lubuntu) for an answer to how make the scrolling works in both my touchpad and touchscreen.

I just installed the Linux Mint 18.3 Cinnamon 64-bits in my laptop HP Pavilion x2 - 10-n155sa (ENERGY STAR). Everything is working apart from the scroll.

Please, could somebody help me?

Thank you.

First-
Refer to your user manual (download if necessary). You probably have a key (F-key or multi-key combination) that turns off the keypad. That is a hardware feature which overrides whatever software settings exist.
