No sound

Post by mistral »

Hi people,

I have installed Linux Mint 18.3 Cinnamon 64bit on tablet Acer Aspire Switch 10 SW5-012-19RC to replace Windows 8.1, which I couldn’t recover. There is a problem; it looks like a sound driver was installed, but there is no sound from speakers nor headphones. The volume is on maximum: 153%.

Could you help me with this?

It had Realtek audio driver on Windows.

I'm sorry that I don't have the expertise to help with your audio problem. But, I'm curious about something else...

You might try link, it's for Fedora 27 but might work for you.
Check out the link in the sound notes section.
Good Luck!
